It is the time of Meiji, right smack in the middle of overlapping cultures. It has been after the Boshin war and Goryokaku war, and as everything has returned to being under the Emperor’s rule, the 9th year of Meiji has come under the rule of not allowing anyone to possess swords. Thus, samurai families were falling to ruin even as the swordsmen continued working in the Bakumatsu. With Japan sending soldiers to in WW2, there were many samurai families leaving the capital to move to other lands. For you who have lost your parents (again?! this tragedy is so common it’s no longer a tragedy), you travel to Hokkaido in search of distant relatives. On the way there, you hear terrifying rumours: “When the snow falls, a beautiful monster kidnaps women and sucks their lifeblood….” Thinking that it must be the wandering spirits of the Goryokaku war, this monster is named ‘Yasha’ but no one really knows about its existence despite it becoming the talk of the town. And when the snow falls, you are kidnapped by a shadow behind you…..
When you awake, you are in Reimeikan, a mysterious inn settled precariously on a cliff……
And who else illustrates this but the artist of Jyuza and Norn!!!

It looks really interesting! This vampire-but-we-didnt-want-to-do-thatXhistoryXsome-save-our-clan-thing has gotten me really interested. I am in the midst of discussing with my friends who should buy which copy. (・∀・)
Though, I suspect I will eventually buy at least four from this series. But since both the skit and Rejet shop tokutens are so good, I can’t decide which I want to get from!! Either way,
Goodbye my wallet.
****So I’ve decided to go for the bookmark for Kirinosuke and Misao. And the mini charms for Gento and Hayato! Well, because…. I suspect I will be holed up at home finishing the new Otomate and Honeybee titles, to bother going to town.
As for Misao’s CD… he releases on 24 December. As you may already know, Christmas in Japan is a big lovers thing. When I was back home last year for the new years, there were couples everywhere on the 25th. One was kissing outside Lawsons. As for me, this year, I will be going to Rejet shop on 25 December to buy his CD.
