Norn9 Last Era Otome Game Review

(non spoiler review)

PoseMage coming in 4 days so I really had to get this game done. I swear I spent my entire Saturday and Sunday on this and what a great fandisc! I have always been a fan of the original game and bought all the Radio discs and event DVD, and am really glad I played this because it only made me love this series more!

This loading screen really summed up the game well, I’d say.

The game was unexpectedly volume-y, with lots of development in the relationships and my favourite kind of bittersweet scenes and the occasional cuteness. I have to say that I hated Masamune in the original game because he was a perv, but I really liked him in this game. Too bad that he still got 12th place though haha. My favourites in the original were Sakuya and Natsuhiko but Continue reading

Tsukiyasha – Reiga translations

Reiga. (*´艸`*) His personality and story is much more lovable than Kirinosuke, being the tsundere he is. He initially dislikes the heroine because of his identity as an Ainu and also because of his past with a human, so he feeds only on animal blood (boar, mostly). But he accidentally goes into a frenzy and sucks the heroine’s blood until she faints in an early part of the story and that’s where their friendship begins. He never bullies the heroine on purpose like Kirinosuke does, and shows interest in her as a woman unlike Kirinosuke.

I think I like Reiga’s chara charm the most, since little Kamui and him is nothing less than cute. Won’t be taking pictures of the CD jacket, since the inside is the same as Kirinosuke’s, and we don’t even get a back cover illustration… Nevertheless, this series seems to have its own personality and is a series worth supporting if you like Wafuu games and stories. Sacrifice ~ Goodbye my Virgin – Serikawa Yuki translations

Omatase~ Somehow this word reminds me of Pash who acted like an Onee in the Senjou no Waltz drama CD from the limited edition. Think i might post a short clip about that sometime soon. (Ishikawa Kaito’s a gem, really) Took me sometime to get started on typing out Rejet’s November CDs: I got lazy because I was replaying some old psp games. I’m gonna leave Code:Realize for New Years… since once I meet my family in Tokyo from this weekend to Christmas, everyone’s leaving the country or going to different prefectures after that, leaving me lonely with my 2D men. Sorry for that long ramble. People just get sad when it’s cold, and there’s nothing in the fridge except that can of alcohol that’s gonna make me even more hungry. I want hot, juicy, salty grilled chicken, like NAU

Them sparklies on the CD!!

Like I mentioned in some previous post, the packaging and design for Sacrifice’s CD is gorgeous, coupled with the fact that there’s a Continue reading

Ayakashi Gohan (PC) Review

I finally finished this in 2 weeks, inbetween schoolwork. This is my first Honeybee game and the first that seemed interesting. I have quite a few thoughts about this, and I won’t do a walkthrough, so there will be no spoilers.

As I mentioned in the trial review, this game is pretty easy to go on routes…. Or so I thought. Since there are no character points (like Rejet) or love catch (like Otomate), it was difficult knowing just which route I was on, and even if you chose a selection, you may meet someone completely not related to the character you want to clear. The guides differ from player to player, and I had my own version of a walkthrough as well, so I’d suggest you rely lots on Quick saves. There probably isn’t a set kind of gameplay, since this game follows a real Amidakuji style, but I guess when the male character you’re clearing at the moment blushes or gets happy, you probably chose the right selection. In the end, the only easy thing was deciding whether you were going to an Ayakashi or Human route.

The flow of the game for each (Ayakashi or Human) route is a main prologue and 4 chapters, which then branches out to a bad end or character route. Then each character has good and bad ends.

The storyline was great, not to mention that the seiyuus did a great job portraying the characters. The last time I remember Kaji as a moody character in a game, and NOT a shota would be him as Rath, in my favourite BWS. And Shimono as Uta Continue reading

Rejet’s New CD Series: Sacrifice ~goodbye my virgin~ (2014~2015)

Whoa that was a helluva long title. (^_^;) レジェさんの純粋愛の物語ですか。。。そうですか。そうですか?

Hello, it’s me again. I planned to do one title everyday but I think someone else has done the introductions for Criminale so you will not hear from me again till 14/15 August. What’s going on?

You’ll see. (・∀・)

So………. Not a very well-boding title for a fairytale-like story. But ‘Sacrifice’ appears to be some kind of group/place(?) rather than the verb of being a hero. And it’s going to be kind of sad: I hope my gut feel.

So the introductions state that it is a pure first love (Fairytale) story with the collaboration of RejetX YutakuII(Eguchi Takuya & Ono Yuuki) X Avex. The art looks like a children’s picture book! I remember seeing this artist somewhere before but I can’t remember at the moment m(__)m

Soubou Sangokushi : Sou Sou Translations

My thoughts on Sou Sou: I really like his cruel character despite me feeling bad for the heroine, and his track has many surprises and ups and downs… Which was really fun to listen to at first but a pain to translate since hearing the same thing twice makes it less enjoyable when you have ‘expectations’.

As apologies for slacking off, I went back to translate almost 95% line-by-line for this CD. I would say that Sou Sou’s CD was more interesting than Sho’s, but it’s up to you to judge. Unfortunately I don’t have a favourite line for this… But my favourite scene is from Track Six. Read for yourself to see what I mean.

Also, this CD isn’t as ecchi as Sho Katsu Riou’s, so you can read it fine all the way till the part where I caution you. But if you’re under 18, read at your own risk!

Again, please credit if you use my translations anywhere. If I find my translations being used anywhere without credit I will stop all translation projects.  Have fun being Sou Sou’s slave. (・∀・) Continue reading

Again, disclaimer, these stories are from the official website. I only translate them! I’ll probably be doing Keisa’s drama track translation as well, stay tuned! (Updates appear on the twitter feed)

The Third Key: The violent lion “Keisa”
CV: Shimono Hiro
Release Date: June 25

If there’something he’s not happy with, his fists are quick to move. He’s the type that can’t apologise honestly, and no matter what happens, he doesn’t reflect on it. He’s not good at being the listener in conversations and is the twin of Chikage the magician, but has a completely different personality. Blood brother also with Haruto.

Oz to Himitsu no Ai SS Translations

Translations for the Short Stories from the Official Website.  The stories will be updated as the official website is updated, so my translation timings will follow them.

Please buy the CDs if you like the series! They are available on a variety of websites like Rakuten, Amazon, CDJapan, and the original CD makers. CD pirating undermines the work of the seiyuus, storywriters and others involved in making the CDs. So please buy an original copy! Feel free to contact me, I’d be most willing to help you get your own copy.

The stories add depth to the situation CD tracks and help you fill in the gaps of whatever is not already heard in the CDs. Also, the SS are different because the brothers speak to each other in the stories, so we get to take a peek at their relationships with each other.

Oz to Himitsu no Ai SS translations – Chikage (Second Key)

** These are from the official website, I only translated them.

img_chikage_b

The Second Key: The west magician “Chikage”
CV: Kondou Takashi
Release Date: May 28

The bewitching magician of the west, he’s the type that can generally do everything, since being born with talent and is thinking hard of a way to do away with humans all at once. Brothers with Keisa and Haruto, he’s the twin of Keisa but they have completely different personalities.

I seriously think KondouT’s voice doesn’t really suit Chikage… Chikage is somewhat of a ‘Everything’s troublesome” guy and one of those feminine clean-freaks, and Kimura Ryohei seems to be more suitable when I think of him in Diabolik Mosquitoes Lovers as Mukami Kou. But of course, KondouT and HirakawaD are both pretty famous for their ability to voice ‘H’ stuffs (; ・`ω・´) which is probably why they’re cast as the first two characters to draw more crowd.
